According to "The Brewer Family Ancestors and Descendants of Barney Verbryck Brewer and His Son John Wesley Brewer Also Maternal and Allied Lines" compiled by Roselyne Watts Jones, 1982, Jane Brewer was born in 1806 and died in 1854.  She was supposed to have been married to a David C. Vorhies.

There are two Jane Vorhies living in Pleasant Twp., Johnson Co., IN in 1850.  Both of these women were born in 1806.  One is married to Isaac Vorhies and one is married to David C. Vorhies.  However, both of these Jane Vorhies are alive and living with their husbands in the 1860 census.

From Record Book of Estrays of Johnson Co., IN.  "Taken upon the 18th day of Jan 1831 by Garrett Brewer living in Pleasant Township Johnson County Indiana one brindle bull, with a white face, short horns both hind legs white, supposed to be three years old next spring no other marks or brands; appraised to three dollars and fifty cents by Samuel Connigo and Isaac B Voorheis  Jan 28th 1831   Isaac Smock J.P.

There is a stone in the Greenwood Cemetery, Johnson County, Indiana that reads "Jane Voorhies 1811-  1854"  However, there is no Isaac nor David of the right age in the same cemetery.
