James M. Hannah, 78, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Gore of
718 Ninth street, Monday att 4 a.m. He had been in ill health for some time,
but had only been seriously ill for the last week. death was due to
complications.
He was born in Portsmouth Dec. 1, 1853 and was the son of James and Eliza
Hannah, pioneer residents of this city. He was married in 1880 to Miss
Catherine Johns and one daughter was born to this union. Mrs. Hannah died
several years ago.
Beside his daughter, Mrs. Gore, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. George
Monnet of Columbus.
The body was moved to the residence 718 Ninth street, Monday afternoon from
the Melcher funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be made later." |
