When Joseph Crowfoot died in 1678, he asked that his brothers James and Andrew Hillyer be overseers.

When Andrew Hillier died in 1697 there was a codicil to his will stating " In Case of the death of my daughter without Issue, the Descent to James Hillyer, the son of my brother James Hillyer. If he die before he come to the age of two and twenty years, Descent to his brother Nathaniel Hillyer, or next, to two of my sister Crowfoot's sons, Daniel Crowfoot & David Crowfoot.

When James Hillier died in 1720 his estate mentions wife Mary , James Hillier Jr, and Elizabeth and Daniel Palmer.
