Based on the date of his marriage, William Learned or Larned was born about 1581.  He married Goodith Gillman on 22 April 1606 at St. Olave, Bermondsey, Southwark, Surrey, England. (1) They had six children with the last five baptized in Bernomdsey, England. (2)  They came to the Colonies in 1632 and were admitted to the First Church of Charleston on 6 Oct 1632. (3)   He died 5th of first month 1646 in Woburn, Middlesex, MA. (4)

William and his wife Goodith came to America prior to October 1632 landing at Charlestown in the Mass Bay Colony. He and his wife were admitted to the First Church of Charlestown October 6, 1632. They moved to Woburn in 1642 and William was one of the seven founders of the First Church of Woburn. His widow, mentioned as Jane, died January 24, 1661.
