Elizabeth Tapp, daughter of Edmund Tapp, married a Lt. John Nash about 1645.
p. 715. John Nash is named as being listed on all three lists of "The Seating of the Meeting-House." His wife, Elizabeth Tapp, is listed on the third.
p. 724. John Nash is listed as an officer of a militia company. His lowest rank is Corporal, 1649, and that record is said to be in Vol. 2, p. 76, of the Colonial Records of New Haven Colony. His highest rank is listed as Major, 1683, and that record is in Vol. 3, p. 119, of the records of Connecticut Colony.

Will written 30 Jan 1687 and John Nash died 03 Jul 1687.  In his will he mentions daughters Sarah and Hanah "while they continue in an unmarried condition."  Also bequests to daughters Elizabeth and Mary.  He makes a reference to the girls' "grandfather Tapp." John Nash also bequeathed to his sister.  "I doe will & bequest 40 shill to be payd out of my estate & delivered unto my dearly beloved sister ye widdow Talmadge as token of my hearty love to her."  The inventory taken July 21, 1687 valued his estate at £664.13.00
