Florence E Caldwell worked hard and got a high school education which allowed her to eventually become a secretary and stenographer. She and her mother moved to Story Av in 1917 where she lived next door to the man she would eventually marry. Wm Herbert Gregory had the same birthday as she, only one year later.
They married around 1926 and had one child. He became president of the Louisville Beef Co.
