Samuel Winslow was born about 1674 in Barnstable, MA. (1) He married Bethia Holbrook in Scituate, Plymouth, MA on 26 Sep 1700 (2) They had one child. Then she died and he remarried to Mercy King in Scituate on 11 Nov 1703. (3) He and Mercy King had six children all born in Rochester, Plymouth, MA. Samuel Winslow was a shoemaker. (4) Then Mercy died on 16 Feb 1733. (5) Samuel Winslow married for the third time to Ruth Barrows on 15 Sep 1739. (6) She was a widow with six children. Her husband John Briggs had died in 1727. Samuel Winslow died 9 Nov 1760 in Petersham, Worcester, MA. (7)

"Samuel son of Kenelm married Bethia Holbrook of Scituate 26 Sep 1700; she died, and he married Mercy King of Scituate 11 Nov 1703; she died. 16 Feb. 1733, and he was pub. to Ruth Briggs 15 Sep 1739. His children were Mercy. born 16 Aug 1705, married James Whitcomb 15 Aug 1721, and died. 20 Sep 1726; Elizabeth, born. 29 Jan 1706/7; Ann, born 12 Feb 1708/9, m. Roland Hammond, pub. 1 May 1731; Thomas, born 7 June 1711; Kenelm, b,. 20 Feb 1712/3, Judith bprn, 8 July 1715, Samuel, the first was early styled cordwalner, afterwards yeoman, res. in Rochester, and was deacon of the church as early as 1710. He was living 18 Jun 1750, and probably soon afterwards followed his son to Hardwick."
