This Deed made and entered into this eighteenth day of November A. D. Eighteen hundred and sixty one by and between Daniel Morlock and Elizabeth his wife of the County of St. Clair and State of Illinois of the first Part and Jacob Morlock of the County of Marion and State of Illinois of the second Part Witnessth that the said party of the first Part for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these present do grant bargain and sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heir and assigns Forever all those certain Lots, tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in the County of St. Clair and State of Illinois and described as follows to wit The South East quarter of the North East quarter of Section (17), Town (1) one South Range (6) West being 40 acres Also Twenty acres off of the East side of the South West gr of the North East qr of same Section (17) Seventeen T1 SR6 West Also Twenty acres on the North side of the S West qr of the North East qr of Sect (21) Town 1 SR 6 W The East half of S E qr of Section 17 in Township 1 South of Range 6 W containing eighty acres Also the N W qr of the S W qr of Section 24 in Township 1 SR7 W containing forty acres Also the North half of the S W qr of Sect 29 in T1 SR6 W And the South East qr of S E qr of Section 29 in T 1 S R6 west being in all one hundred and twenty acres more or less. Also the West half of the South West quarter of the E qr of Section 23 T 1 SR 6W of 3rd pr. M. containing twenty acres more or less. The whole land hereby conveyed containing (334) three hundred and forty acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described premises together with all the privileges and appurentances thereunto belonging unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever the said party of the first part hereby covenanting that the said land is free from all in cumbrances and that they will Warrant and Defend the title and possessions of the said land unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of the person whomsoever In Testimony Whereof the said party of the first part hereunto set their names and seals the day and year first above written
