This Indenture made this twenty sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty six between Jacob Morlock and Christina his wife of Marion County Illinois Carl Morlock and Lisette his wife and August Morlock of St. Clair County inthe state of Illinois legal heirs of Daniel Morlock deceased of the first part and Louis Morlock of the County of St. Clair and state of Illinois of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of $10, 175.00 Ten thousand one hundred and seventy five dollars in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these Present do grant, bargain, and sell unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all the following described lots divisions parcels of land situated in the County of St. Clair and state of Illinois to wit Twenty (20) acres on the north side of the south west quarter of the south East quarter of Section Twenty One (21) also the north half of the south west quarter of section twenty nine (29) also the north East quarter of the south East quarter of Section twenty nine (29) all in Township No one (1) South Range six (6) West and also the south west quarter of the south west quarter of Section twenty four (24) in Township No one (1) South Range Seven (7) west containing in all one hundred eighty (180) acres more or less. Together with all and singular their hereditaments and appurentances thereunto belonging or in any other opportunity and the ____ and _____ remainder and remainders ____ and forfeits though and all the estate, title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurentances. To have and to hold the said premises above bargained and described with the appurentances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever And that the said Jacob Morlock and Christina his wife, Carl Morlock and Lisette his wife and August Morlock party of the first part hereby specifically waive ___ and relinquish unto said party of the second part his heirs executors administrator and assigns all right title claim interest and benefit whatsoever in and to the above described premises, and each and every part thereof which is given by or __ the from all have of the state pertaining to the Exemption of homestead had the said Jacob Morlock, Christina his wife Carl Morlock, Lisette his wife and August Morlock party of the first part, for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators covenant grant bargain and assign to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that at the time of the writing and delivery of these ____ they were well seized of the premises above conveyed as a ____ forfeit absolute and ____ estate of inherietance the law in fee simple and bargained with full power and lawful authority to grant bargain sell and convey the ____ ____
