  • May have been born in Paxton, Massachusetts, as he enlisted there during the Revolutionary War. Paxton was a town that was created from Rutland. Applied for Revolutionary War pension benefits Sep 1832. Eliab was in Capt. Richardson's Co. 1776. He removed to Ludlow, Vermont about 1832. Temple says that Samuel and Martha had a daughter named Elizabeth born in 1760, and does not name a son called Eliab. Living in Massachusetts, on direct tax list in 1798.5,6
  • He was a Revolutionary War soldier. Enlisting in May 1777 while a resident of Paxton, Massachusetts. In Sep 1832, Eliab Brewer applied for a pension as a resident of Ludlow, Windsor Co., Vermont.7
  • He married Sally Rice, daughter of Bezaleel Rice and Sarah Bent, Rutland, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, on 18 February 1782.8,9
  • Eliab Brewer died on 24 September 1835 Ludlow, Windsor Co., Vermont.10
