Brewer's sons served in the British Army under Colonel Beverly Robinson, and settled after the war in Canada. His daughter Sally, who married a man named Tilney, also moved to Canada. His widow, Mary, claimed £254 New York as compensation for the property abandoned when they left their farm in 1777.1
