Hannah was allegedly insane from (at least) 1801 until her death in 1822. She left several children and grandchildren, one of her surviving children was Jemima Thorp (d.1832) mother of Cornelius D. Thorp and married to Peter Thorp when nineteen years of age. Peter died in 1832, and Jemima died in 1842.⁸
• She is named in her husband's will on 30 June 1806 to receive all her husband's real estate, together with one feather bed and bedding. (No mention of her mental condition).⁹
• In April 1851, Elizabeth Caywood, daughter of Hannah (Nauchy) Turner, gave testimony as to the ancestry of her mother. Elizabeth states that her mother, Hannah, also known as Nauchy, was the only child of Cornelius Brower and Molly De Roselle. Hannah was born in Tuckahoe, Westchester Co., N.Y., about 1730. She married Edmund Turner at Tuckahoe at age 19, and died at Shawangunk in 1816. Edmund Turner had died at Plattekill in Ulster County, prior to Hannah.
  Elizabeth further states that Cornelius was the son of Nicholas and Yannetje Brower, both resided at Bronx River, Westchester Co., N.Y. Cornelius died about 1733 at Bronx River.
  Elizabeth states that the family tradition named eight children of Nicholas and Yannetje Brower: Adolphus, Nicholas, Cornelius, Nazareth, Jenny, Hannah, Lana, and Anna. She understood that Nicholas was a millwright. She thinks that Nicholas went to North Carolina after the Revolution (this cannot be the first Nicholas as he was certainly deceased).
  Mary (De Roselle) Brower survived her husband, Cornelius, and married second, David Demarest (lists five children).⁷

As of now Hendrick does not have an obvious fit within the families descended from Adam Brouwer. Additional evidence needed before a placement can be finalized.
