  • Jay H. Brower (publisher of the Brower Family Circle) is author of most of the published information on Hubert Brower and his descendants. He is a descendant of Hubert Brower through his son Christian. "The Browers of Coventry Twp., Chester Co., Pa." was published in Mennonite Family History v.4, no.3 in 1985.
  • A posting on 19 Feb 2007 to the Brower Surname Mail List at Roots Web by David Otto, Ph.D. states that he had acquired the "Pass" used by Hurbert Brower at the time of his immigration to Philadelphia.6
  • Little, in fact almost nothing, is known of Hubert Brower after his arrival at Philadelphia. It is not known where he lived or when and where he or his wife died. His three sons settled on the Schuylkill River in Coventry, Chester Co., Pennsylvania in the early 1740s.
