Jan 11, 1920, Aged 78 years and 21 days. Mr Brower is survived by his widow and Charles H. of Hamilton O. and G.h. of Dayton, O., one daughter Mable Reahard of Medford, Oregon, besides a host of friends and acquaintances. At the time of his death he was surrounded by his family at the home of his son G.H. Brower, Dayton, O. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Fosher a former pastor of the Universalist Church of Roann, Ind., of which Mr. Brower was a member. Internment was in the Cemetery at Lewisburg, Preble Co., O., Tuesday Jan. 13, 1920 at 10 A.M. near the birth place and former home of the deceased, during his early manhood.
    At the age of twenty two Mr. Brower was united in marriage to Mary Siler and to this union there were born five children, two of whom preceded him in death.
    Immediately after his marriage he set up house keeping in the neighborhood of his birth and was for a number of years engaged in farming. Afterwards moving with his family to a farm in Wabash Co., Ind. near the little town of Niconza where he and his family continued to live for a number of years and was well and favorably known by a host of friends who will mourn his departure.
    During our Country's crisis from sixty one to sixty five, Mr. Brower heard his Country's call and cast his lot with the One Hundred and Fifty Sixth Ohio Infantry as a volunteer and rendered valliant service to his country and it's flag.
    In the death of Mr. Brower the country has lost one of its sturdy and industrious pioneer citizens life was an inspiration not only to the members of his immediate family but likewise to all those that knew him and came in contact with him during life.
