- David Conover was named in his father's will dated on 30 November 1702.4
- In Feb 1722 he purchased one hundred acres of land on "Great Eggharbour" from his brother John. In 1729 he was Surveyor in Egg Harbor Township, and in 1735, he was a member of the Grand Jury.1
- He was made an executor of the will of Mary on 7 December 1731; proved 26 Jan 1731/32. (Lib. 3, p. 175). Mary Gaill, widow of Samuel Gaill of Great Egg Harbor, Gloucester Co. Daughters Hester Risley, Mary Addoms, and Diana Risley. Gifts to Meary daughter of Diana Risley, Jeremiah Risley and Mary Homan. Executors: son (sic, see TAG 27:188, should be sons) John and David Covenovin; they to divide the estate among my children and two of my grandchildren (Thomas and Micajah, children of Peter Cownovin, deceased).
