  A continuation of this family in NYGBR 81:123-25 states that Joris lived in Brooklyn (there on 26 May 1719). The genealogical summary of his children places their families in Monmouth County, Middletown (Middlesex Co.) and Readington, New Jersey. It's likely that Joris moved his family to New Jersey in the 1720s.
• Cocheu adds to Joris' family, "a daughter" baptized 1 Jan 1729. It appears that he misread the record in the Freehold-Middletown records. Joris was a witness on 1 Jan 1728 for a daughter (unnamed) of William Kouwenhoven.^12,7
