- William Emery is covered by Frederic B. Emery in Conrad Emery and his Descendants (1970), on page 235. His account of William is very brief when compared to those of William's brothers. It is apparent that Frederic B. Emery was not aware of William's whereabouts after leaving Hunterdon Co., New Jersey. The profile mentions children George and John that had been named in prior works by Rev. Van Syckle and in Chambers' Early Germans in New Jersey. The will of William Emry of Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, does mention a son named John, but does not mention a son named George.3,4
