He was elected Townsman or Overseer of Gravesend in 1692. In Feb 1693/94 Isaac began a series of land transactions, selling properties at Gravesend, for a move to Delaware. On a deed dated 5 Oct 1697 he is called "Isaac Gooding of Delaware bay near about Reeden Island."7
