Edward is likely the Edward Hamilton, son of Oliver Hamilton and Deborah Ranson (Ransom), who at age 32 on 14 Apr 1888 in Flint, Michigan, married Emma Hahn, age 18, daughter of Peter Hahn and "Miss Fragin."
It is not known if Emma remarried, and she went by her Hamilton surname in 1920, 1930 and at her death.3
