States that Sarah Hegeman married Abraham Losee, son of Abraham Losee and Anna Dorland, which appears to be incorrect. She most likely married Abraham Losee, son of Louwrens Losee and Rachel de Lange. This correction can be found in Settlers of the Beekman Patent, vol. 8, p. 248 (Jim Hamstra, e-mail Sept. 22, 2014). Analysis of children's names, a baptism sponsorship, and Abraham Losee's estate settlement, support the corrected placement.. Hereinafter cited as The Dorland Enigma Solved.

He is often mentioned in the records of the Labadists who had arrived in New York City in 1679. Jacob Swart was appointed public porter at New Amsterdam on 28 Dec 1663.
