Their daughter, Sarah, bp. at the New York Dutch Church on 20 Mar 1741, has
been identified in at least one published source as having 1st married John
Benson on 3 Oct 1761 at the New York Dutch Church. I found a record of one
child, Hester, who married Samuel Walgrove at the Trinity Church on 23 Jun
1784. She then married John Mildeberger, son of Johann Adam Mildeberger
and Anne Elizabeth Pinder, for her 2d husband on 22 Jun 1763 at Christ
Lutheran Church in New York City. The New York Presbyterian Church records
indicates that Sarah died 28 Feb 1803 and that John died 9 Nov 1798. John
and Sarah had at least four children: (1) Elizabeth, m. Hartess Heron; (2)
Catharine, m. 7 Apr 1795, New York City, Myndert Marselis; (3) John A., m.
Ann De Witt; and (4) Sarah, bp. Tarrytown Mar 1773, d. 27 Jun 1865, m. 7 Apr
1800, James Fisher. I have corresponded with a descendant of this Sarah
Mildeberger and James Fisher. No children were named Cornelius by either
marriage but by virtue of a child "Hester" being born to Hester Brower and
John Benson - - and that she did marry John Mildeberger as her 2nd husband,
it is highly unlikely that it was this Sarah married who married Robert
