Sentence. Laurents Duyts, of Holstein, for selling his wife, Ytie Jansen, and forcing her to live in adultery with another man, and for living himself also in adultery, to have a rope tied around his neck, and then to be severly flogged, to have his right ear cut off, and to be banished for 50 years.
Sentence. John Parcell alias Botcher, of Huntingdonshire, England, for living in adultery with Ytie Jans, to be placed at the whipping post with two rods in hs arm, to be banished for 20 years and to pay a fine of 100 guilders with costs.
...Geesje Jansen for living in adultery with Laurens Duyts, to be conducted to the whipping post, and fastend thereto, the upper part of her body being stripped naked and two rods placed in her hand, to be afterwars conducted in that wise, outside the city gates, and banished from the province for the term of 30 years, with costs.

Whereas William Patterson before the year 1699 was seized in a tract of land at George's Hundred and made his will dated 17 Jan 1699, and out of said tract of land bequeathed to his daughter, Elizabeth, 100 acres and the remainder to his son, William Patterson. Whereas William Patterson, the younger, did confirm to John and Elizabeth Greenwater the bequeathed 100 acres bounded by Augustine Creek containing 100 acres as surveyed by George Dakeyne on 6 march 1716. Whereas John Greenwater made his will 7 April 1721 and ordered his executors to sell said 100 acres joining his brother, William Patterson's plantation on Augustine Creek. Now Moses McKinley and Elizabeth his wife by virtue of a release from William Patterson, the younger dated 10 May 1721 and for £30 granted to Elias Naudine all the said 100 acres. Signed Moses McKinley and Elizabeth McKinley. Delivered in the presence of William Read. (G1:70).3
- On 24 May 1724, Elias Naudine of Appoquinimink, mariner, conveys to Samuel Mahoe of the County of New Castle, weaver, for £50, a tract of land bounded by Augustine Creek containing 100 acres being part of a tract sold by Casparus Herman to William Patterson, late of the County of New Castle, dec. and by William Patterson's will dated 17 Jan 1699 was left to Elizabeth Patterson, his daughter, wife to John Greenwater, late of the County, dec. and was sold by Elizabeth Greenwater according to her husbands will to Elias Naudine during the time of her widowhood, then she being maried to Moses McKenly the said land was confirmed to Elias Naudine by a deed in 1723.
