"I came across a listing in the LDS ancestor search under the IGI results #40 for Jane Brewer b. ca 1790 Glauchester, NJ who is married 18 Apr 1811 to Daniel ROSE b. ca. 1786 Glouchester, NJ. The thought occurs that here is a straight forward connection between the Brewer family and the Rose family in NJ around the time of our man of interest John Rose b. 1760, sons around 1790's. Who ever this Jane Brewer is, her unknown paternal Brewer family may have contributed a son John to be raised by the Rose family. At least it shows a connection between some Brewer's and the Rose line and in New Jersey. I don"t see any Daniel Rose listed in Marg's family lines."
