"The manuscript identifies this Willem Truax of Tin Ton Falls, Monmouth Co., New Jersey with the William Truax who married Susanna and had five children born about 1742-1756. It hardly seems possible that Willem Truax began rearing children in his 60th year continuing into his 73rd year. Rather than interupt the manuscript the line will be continued as given, but descendants of William Truax of Tin Ton Falls must make further researches to determine his ancestry."

  2. [S2317] James C. Moule, "Tunison Family Bible", Searcher (Burbank, Ca.) vol. 7, no. 3, pages 113-116 (1971). James C. Moule of Long Beach, California states, "These come from a Bible inherited by my grandmother, the late Gertrude Young Moule, born in Philadelphia, September 28, 1872. The original sheets are in the possession of my aunt, Mrs. C. Burnham Mace of Cambridge, Maryland. Unfortunately, my grandmother seperated these pages from the Bible shortly before she died, throwing the remainder of the book away. Thus it is not possible to state the date or publisher of the Bible. After studying the different handwriting and the text, I have come to the conclusion that the first contemporary record was entered in 1817. I have tried to copy the same spelling, punctuation and capitalization as in the original. The Tunisons were a New Jersey living in or near Rahway. The freemans were originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey." 8:114. Hereinafter cited as "Tunison Family Bible."
