He was a member of the New Amsterdam Dutch Church before 1660 and a note desides his name shows that he removed to the Wallabout (in Brooklyn on Long Island). Some of his children moved to Somerset County, New Jersey.9

This was granted and on 26 May 1663 he petioned to be allowed to settle on the new property, which was granted.13
