State of North Carolina No. 778 To all to whom these presents Shall come greeting Know ye that we for in consideration of the sum of fifty Shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted paid into our treasury by Thomas Aid have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said Thomas Aid a tract of land containing one hundred acres lying and being in our County of Bladen on the North East side of the Raft Swamp Beginning at a large pine near the mouth of Fork Branch and thence East Eleven chains to a large pine then North Eighty five chains and forty eight chains to a Small pine near a pond then West Eleven chains and forty Eight links to the Beginning
