website. I was inspired to embark upon this journey because of the inspirations
of my late grandfather, Mr. Fernie Edward Brown, Sr.
In June 1999, I decided to trace my
family history to learn more about my people and from whence they came. My
grandfather, Mr. Fernie Edward Brown, Sr. was very knowledgeable of his family
history and many historical accounts. Through his sharp memory and accurate
account of details, a conglomeration of names and background information has
enabled the success in tracing our roots to slavery.
In memory of his wisdom and
his paramount of strength, this entire project is dedicated to him and our
ancestors that have struggled for the cause. May God Bless You…
