My Dear Brother,

I cannot find among my father's papers the course of the two Ashwood ______ now the __________they were in your possesion in the suit with Col. Andres. If so, send them to me by old Alonzo. Wm Robeson claims with the rest of the property, 50 acres, part of 200 patented by A. Hillier. I cannot tell about _____ it is. Perhaps it may be - __________. If you know anything about it, write me word. I send you Ellis's valuations, if there be any dissatisfaction, you had better come up on Monday or Tuesday, he may perhaps alter it. The lands and improvement are high as they can be. The negroes are low

The Ashewood improvements are at their their full value. If this be any material difference from last year (if you can recollect) it would be well to taste it. Perhaps a letter to me will serve all purposes.

Yrs. Affectionately,

Thomas Brown

My letter has swelled larger than I expected when I began on this present paper but I will get Mr. Exils to delay entering our list upon his books ______ or you yourself arrives. I am going to Robison Court and will not be back until Thursday next.

TB

I understand Mr. Burris _____ got in on Monday last.

Thats all
