Parthenia Elizabeth Browning died in the same home in the Pleasant Valley
community six miles north of Conway in which she was born and spent the entire
75 years of her life. The widow of J.M. (Jack) Browning, who died in 1931, she
was born March 21, 1870. Her son, Socratis Browning and family made their home
with her. She is survived by one other son, Police Sgt. Lois Browning of
Little Rock; five daughters, Mrs. Luna Scott, Mrs. Autie Burchfield, and Mrs.
Ozzie Burchfield, all of Pleasant Valley, Mrs. Dove Robinson of Wooster, and
Mrs. Opal Johnson of Morganton and seven grandchildren.
