In the name of God Amen. I Amos Whitney of Royalston in the County of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts being of a sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament. I commit my soul to God, the author of it, and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter mentioned. As to my worldly Estate, I hereby dispose of the same in the following manner.

First, I give & bequeath unto my daughter, Mary Ann Wheeler three dollars.

Secondly, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sophia Browning three dollars.

Thirdly, I give and bequeath unto my son George Whitney three dollars.

Fourthly, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Abigail A. Whitney three dollars.

Fifthly, I give and bequeath unto my son Levi H. Whitney the residue and remainder of all my property both Real and personal Estate, of whatever kind it may consist.

Finally, I hereby appoint Levi H. Whitney to be the Executor of this my last Will and testament; hereby revoking all other and former wills by me made, and declaring this and this only to be my last Will and testament.

In witness whereof, I hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of March in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty nine.

Signed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Amos Whitney to be his last will and testament, in the presence of the subscribers, who in his presence and at his request and in his presence, and in presence of each other, hereunto set our hands as witnesses.
