Welcome to the Bruyere Family Homestead
Greetings to All who Enter !.
I have created this site for the purpose of collecting geneological information about my family name, Bruyere.
If you are descended from a Bruyere or you have information that will help fill in the (many, many) blanks in my research, please feel free to email me (address below) with that info. If you have a .ged file from your own research, I am able to import those into my research program so feel free to email it to me as an attachment.
I am attempting to connect all of the different branches of Bruyeres to a common ancestor through the research I am doing. What I have come accross is a name change, or mis-spelling, sometime back in the late 1700s. The name of one of the fathers went from Bruyere to Bruyr. I have not been able to figure out if this was an error or what... also, I have come across a Bruyer...
Feel free to check out what I have done so far, and if you can fill in any of the blanks, or know of any corrections, please contact me and let me know what info you have. Also, if you know of a resource that I may be able to access that will help, let me know what it is.
Thank you for visiting, and feel free to comment on what you see.
Franz Edouard Bruyere, Jr.
