It was the first car upholstered with a nylon fabric called Candalon, which is both washable and long-wearing. "Black lights" dash dials are big and easy-to-read and do not cast a glare in the eyes or reflections in the windshield.

Optional factory features included in this car include bright wheel trim rings and white sidewall tires; the Climatizer heating and ventilation system, which circulates air evenly and offers quick action defrosting; automatic action overdrive, which reduces the engine speed about 30% without affecting the road speed; the automatic hill holder, which allows the driver to stop on a hill without rolling backward by keeping the clutch pedal depressed, taking the right foot off brake pedal, and holding the gas; and a horizontal chrome upper molding instead of the body colored on the front edge of the hood.

The extra low and wide body has ideal weight balance when riding and its stretched wheelbase of 123 inches offers the feel of a limousine.
