"Not Yet Decided"

4 Stores Seek New Downtown Sites
Proprietors of four stores in lower State St., that will have to move by May 1 when the buildings they occupy are razed to make way for a parking lot, are somewhat up in the air about future planes, but indications are they will seek other downtown locations.

Plans to Retire
Edward W. Yager, manager of the Nunn-Bush Shoe Store at 61 State St., said this morning no knows yet what will happen to the store. Mr. Yager, however, plans to retire.
"I am sure," he said, "that officials of the company in Milwaukee have not yet decided what to do about the Albany store. when that decision will be made or what it will be I don't know, but I do know I am going to retire."
He pointed out that the shoe store has been in its present location since Mar., 1958, under a two-year lease but the company had hoped to get a two-year extension of the lease. Prior to that th ecompany operated the shoe concession in an Albany men's store

In April, 1963 Edward Yager (aged 70 years), who was born March 2, 1893, died [SSAN: 108-01-3203].

This Memorial is a Tribute in recognition of our ancestor's sacrifices and hard work, which has allowed us to live the life which we have and to the suberb German & Irish heritage which has given us our values and humanity, but most of all our faith in God, and to the full blooded American heritage which has given us our zest for life and allows us to dream; for we live in a nation where we can achieve and accomplish anything!
