DOROTHY MEE - TITUSVILLE FL

Dorothy R. Mee, 92, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Lake Harris Nursing Home in Leesburg, Fla. Mrs. Mee was born in Hiawatha, Kan. She came to Brevard County with her husband, Joseph, in 1972 from Binghamton, NY. 

She had a long career with J.C. Pennys,. Mrs. Mees 19 years and 9,000 hours of volunteer work with Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary included several committees and the executive board. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, and the Homemakers Club of Titusville. Mrs. Mee was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Susan J. Riggin and her husband, Elmer of Leesburg; son, Joseph J. and wife, Janice Mee Jr. of Endicott, NY; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, James and wife, Marie Mee; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12th, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Titusville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary. North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville is in charge of arrangements.
