Area of Brighouse between Hipperholme and Coley.

This is discussed in the book Our Home & Country.

It is said that a number of Roman Catholic priests lived here before the Knights Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem were established at Coley.

Their chapel was built on a site later occupied by a farm

The Nomina Villarum [1865] records a place with the same name in the parish of Sandal Magna, Wakefield.
