Sacred to the memory of 
Samuel, son of John and Susanna Nicholl, 
formerly of Halifax, 
who departed this life on the 18th day of July 1836 
in the 40th year of his age.
   
Also of the above named John Nicholl, 
who departed this life on the 30th day of December 1836, 
aged 73 years.
