In memory of John Clegg of Todmorden, rope maker, who died December 30th 1842 in the 42nd year of his age.    Also of Martha, his wife, who died April 23rd 1867 in the 70th year of her age.    Also of Emma,their daughter who died June 16th 1834 aged 1 year and 7 months.    Also of Brook, their son, who died November 5th 1843 in his 13th year.    Also of Betty, mother of the said John Clegg who died May 25th 1842 aged 62 years.    Also of Hannah Brook, Mother of the above Martha Clegg who died October 1st 1856 in her 90th year.
