To the honour of the excellent and most powerful God and to the dutiful memory of the lineage named Emmet. Those who survive him, inhabitants of this city for very many years, G. N. Emmet and the widow of the home and John Emmet, of Craven House, most recently departed this life, have undertaken that this window be installed. In the year of our salvation, 1862
