the banks of the Calder in Brighouse.
She failed to return home.
Some days later, a 7-year-old friend said "Edith fell into the river".
Edith's body was found on 1st June 1899
He died in the conflict.
He is remembered on the Memorial at Rosemount Iron Works, Elland
