Matthias & Maria Friedel
This is a photograph (circa 1910) of my great grandparents, Mathias & Maria Hoerl Friedel taken by Schubert Studios, Kiel & Chilton, Wis.
In 1895, they immigrated from Thein, Bohemia to Jericho Wisconsin.
After a fire destroyed their home (also a church and other structures) in the winter of 1923 or 1924, they lived with my grandparents, Michael & Margaret Friedel in Racine, Wisconsin.

Son of Adalbert & Anna Maria Gund Friedl
Maria Hoerl Friedel, born 30 May 1849, Thein Bohemia, died 4 June 1928, Racine, WI
Daughter of Josef & Katherina Suttner Hoerl
