Yesterday morning at the residence of G. H. Buckstaff, 210 10th St., was solemnized the wedding ceremony of Mr. Sinclair Manland
and Miss Florence Murray, the former of Green Bay, and the later of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Spence, of Green
Bay. The bridal couple stood beneath a canopy of green and white in the front parlor, which was most beautifully decorated with palms
and syringas. The bride was attired in a gown of white batiste and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The couple left at noon for a
short wedding trip, after which they will be at home in Green Bay, where the groom is manager of the Green Bay gas plant. The
ceremony was performed before relatives and a few friends and among those present from abroad were Miss Whitesides, of De Pere;
Miss Green, of Escanaba; Mrs. Hathaway, of Green Bay; Mrs. Al. Mainland, John Mainland, James Mainland, all of Racine; Miss
Elizabeth Fox, of Green Bay. The bride is a half sister of Mrs. G. H. Buckstaff.
The groom in the above notice from the Oshkosh Times of Wednesday, is our own Sinclair Mainland, at one time assistant principal of
our High School, and as true and manly a fellow as ever took the leading part in marriage ceremony. If he has an enemy in the world
it is not in this section and his friends here are without limit. Chiltonites in general and The Times, in particular, rejoice with Mr.
Manland in this newly acquired happiness of his.
