These marriage announcement was contributed by Tom Connolly

Chilton Times
June 6, 1888

At St. Augustine church, in this city, on Tuesday, June 5, 1888, Mr. George Moran to Miss Tillie Duffy.

The bridegroom is a young man engaged in the business of farming in the town of Taycheedah, Fond du Lac county, and although not acquainted with him, we learn that he is an enterprising and industrious young man.

The bride is the handsome and accomplished daughter of Patrick Duffy Esq., of Chilton town. She has resided here since childhood and was a general favorite among her schoolmates, and after she grew to womanhood continued to be admired by all with whom she became acquainted.

After the ceremonies at the church, the large circle of friends and relatives betook themselves to the residence of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous repast was spread. In the evening a reception and social dance was given to the numerous young friends at which all had an enjoyable time.

May their life be a long and happy one is the wish of The Times.
