Wedded Here Wednesday Noon
A pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theo.
Orphal at high noon Wednesday, Aug. 16. The contracting parties were Miss
Emma Schlinz of this village and Olaf Olson of Neenah. Rev. Witchonke was the
officiating clergyman who tied the nuptial know pronouncing the ceremony
which united their lives. The wedding was a quiet one, witnessed only by
immediate relatives of the bride and groom and a few intimate friends.
The bride was becomingly attired in a white serge suit. She was attended
by her sister, Charlotte Orphal and Fred Olson attended the groom. Miss
Orphal wore a pretty dress of yellow marquisette.
After congratulations were offered an elaborate wedding dinner was
served to the guests, after which the bridal party left on the 3:38 Soo Line
train for a short honeymoon after which they will be at home at Wausau.
The Favorite joins their friends in wishing them happiness and
prosperity. The following from out of town were present at the wedding Mrs.
Andrew Olson, Fred, Ruben and Esther Olson and Clara Diagewski.
