Appleton Post Crescent - June 17, 1939

Miss Catherine Funk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Funk, Stockbridge, and Raymond Scott, Milwaukee, were married at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church at Stockbridge, the Rev. M. Gonnering officiating.

The bride was attended by Miss Gladys Scott, sister of the bridegroom; and Mrs. Hugo Lex as bridesmaids and Mrs. James Funk as matron of honor. The bridegroom's attendants were Henry Funk, brother of the bride, and Norman Wettstein.

The bride has been employed at Milwaukee for the last few years. The bridegroom is employed as butcher by the Milwaukee Plankington Packing company.

The wedding dinner and reception were given at the home of the bride's parents. After a two week trip through the northern part of the state, Mr. and Mrs. Scott will make their home at 5044 Thirty-second street, Milwaukee.

Out-of-town guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marks, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Peschke, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. George Pontow, Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wettstein, Ripon; Mrs. Charles Wilsing, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilsing, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilsing, Sheboygan; Mrs. Frank Scott, Black Creek; Mr. Henry Peil, Menomonee Falls; Mr. and Mrs. John Foresti, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Schommer, Mrs. Mary Brown, son Raymond, Brothertown; and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Joos, Chilton.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott entertained at a Wedding dance Friday night at Stockbridge Harbor.
