On Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clockat the parsonage of the St. Boniface Episcopal church, Rev. A. E. Pflaum united in marriage, Mr. Claude Ray Oakley of Chilton town and Miss Florence Ida Whitby of the town of Brothertown.

The bride was charmingly gowned in a suit of brown velour trimmed with fur and wore a cosage bouquet of American Beauty roses. She was attended by Miss Beulah Oakley, sister of the groom, who wore a blue velvet gown trimmed with beads. Myron Whitby, brother of the bride was best man.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents in the town of Brothertown, immediate relatives being present. The dining room was beautifully decorated with pink and white crepe paper and cut flowers for the occasion.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Whitby of the town of Brothertown and has spent all her life with her parents on their farm. She is a popular young lady and has taken an active part in the social affairs of her community.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Oakley of Chilton town and has been a farmer all his life. He is an industrious young man and will continue in the pursuit of agriculture.

Both he and his bride have many friends here who wish them years of happiness and prosperity.

The newlyweds left for Milwaukee and Chicago on a three weeks honeymoon trip and upon their return will make their home in Chilton town.
