The Chilton Journal, August 31, 1933

Miss Catherine Fuchs, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fuchs of Chilton, and Edward Pethan, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pethan, were married August 30 at 5:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. Rev. H.E. Hunck performed the marriage ceremony and read the nuptial mass.

The bride wore a gown of gray crepe and a blue hat and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Pearl Fuchs of Manitowoc, niece of the bride, was attired in pink silk and wore a white hat and carried a bouquet of gladioli and asters. Miss Rosaline Pethan, niece of the groom as flower girl, wore a dress of pale yellow silk and carried an arm bouquet of mixed flowers. The groom was attended by his nephew, Roman Pethan.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom. Twenty-five immediate relatives of the groom and the bride were present. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Pethan will live on their small farm in the south limits of the city.
