Stockbridge Church Scene of Fox-Jahn Nuptial Rite

Nuptial vows were repeated by Alice Fox and David Allen Jahn during a 10 a.m. nuptial high mass today at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stockbridge with the Rev. Martin Fox, brother of the bride, officiating. Bouquets of pink and white gladiolus adorned the altar for the rite.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Paul N. Fox, Hilbert, R 1, and the late Mr. Fox, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jahn, 264 E. 13th Street. The new Mrs. Jahn was given in marriage by Ronald B. Price of Stockbridge, her uncle.

Schiffli Embroidery - The bride chose an organza bell-skirted gown for her wedding, the bodice of which was enriched with schiffli embroidery, pearl sprays and sequins. Styled with a crescent waistline, the gown's watteau panel of schiffli embroidery. A headpiece of pearls and organza roses held her bouffant silk illusion veiling and she carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses, stephanous and ivy centered with a white orchid.

Miss Judy Price of Appleton was chosen to be the maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Dianne Paige, city, and Miss Sharon O'Brien, city. Their floor length empire gowns of soft pink were highlighted by ribbon around the bodice and white lace ruffle trim. Each attendant carried a wicker basket of daisies and snapdragons in pink and white and wore a half crown of pearls to hold her short veil.

The best man for the ceremony was Roger Cheevers, Jr., city, and the groomsmen were Robert and Steve Jahn, both of this city, brothers of the bridegroom.

Gala Reception - A dinner for the immediate family and wedding party was served at the Retlaw Motor Inn immediately following the ceremony, after which guests gathered for the reception and buffet supper. A wedding dance will be held at the Crystal Ballroom in the evening. The newlyweds plan a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and will be at home at 144 W. Zuenert Blvd. in Cedarburg upon their return.

Mrs. Jahn graduated from St. Gregory High School in St Nazianz and is a 1966 graduate of Mary'sCollege with a bachelor of science degree in education. She will be employed as a teacher with the Cedarburg Public School system. Her husband is a 1961 graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy and attended the Fond du Lac Vocational Technical and Adult School. He is employed as a clerk for the Olson Transportation Company in Grafton.
