June 24, 1905
A wedding which was of much interest to the residents of this vicinity took place at St. Elizabeth's Catholic church at the hour of 9:30 o'clock on Wednesday morning, June 21. The contracting parties were Mr. Felix Lex and Miss Ida Katherine Thill. The ceremony was performed by Very Rev. N. July in the presence of relatives and a large number of invited guests. Wm. Lex and J. B. Thill acted as groomsmen and Miss Katie Guelff, of Appleton, and Miss Anna Thill were bridesmaids. After the ceremony at the church the bridal pary was driven to Bee's hall where the wedding dinner was given and congratulations were received. This was followed by dancing during the afternoon and evening.
The groom is a son of John Lex, one of the prosperous farmers of the town of Chilton. The bride is a daughter of ex-county treasurer Peter Thill, of the town of Stockbridge. Both are popular and The Times extends congratulations. They will reside on the Duffy farm in the town of Chilton which was purchased a few years ago by the father of the groom.
