Sheboygan People Attend Meier-Baus Wedding; Chilton

A pretty wedding occurred at Chilton on Tuesday, June 29, when Miss Irene Meier of that village was united in marriage to Ben M. Baus, St. Cloud. The marriage ceremony was performed at 9 oclock Tuesday morning at St. Mary's church by Rev. Father Thelen. The bride was attended by Mrs. Arthur Acker, this city, as matron of honor and Miss Irene Braun, her cousin, as the bridesmaid. Mrs. Acker wore a dress of Nile Green organdie and a hat to match. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink sweet peas. The groom's brother, Dr. Erwin Baus, Milwaukee, was the best man. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home to thirty-five guests. The home was decorated with cut flowers in a color scheme of lavender and white. A reception was held for the couple during the afternoon. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Meier, Chilton. She was employed for three years at the Armour Company office in this city. The groom is a merchant at St. Cloud. Mr. and Mrs. Baus left on a honeymoon trip to Chain-of-Lakes and the Wisconsin Dells. They will be at home after July 15 at St. Cloud.
