Vows Exchanged by Young People in Lutheran Rites
Afternoon Ceremony Read for Ruth Radtke at St. Peters

St. Peters Lutheran church was the setting at 3 p.m. today for the nuptial ceremony in which Miss Ruth E. Radtke, daughter of the Edwin Radtkes, 167 E. McWilliams street, became the bride of Donald W. Bargenquast, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bargenquast, New Holstein, R. 1.

The Rev. Gerhard Pieper performed the service and The Lords Prayer was sung by Wayne Schmidt.

Attending the bride were Miss Betty Radtke and Miss Evelyn Korth as maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. Wallace Bargenquast was best man and Harold Bargenquast groomsman. Acting as ushers were Edwin Radtke and Lester Bahrs.

White sheer styled the floor length gown worn by the bride with a veil of fingertip length. She had yellow roses in her bouquet. Net over taffeta styled the attendants gowns with the honor maid in pink and the bridesmaid wearing yellow. Pink, yellow and white asters formed their bouquets.

A buffet supper is planned for 250 this evening in Ruepings Recreational hall. Reception will follow.

The couple will leave for Northern Wisconsin and will be at home after Sept. 1 at 199 Fifth street. Mr. Bargenquast is an employe of the Lake View Sand and Gravel company.
